17.10.060 “HC” highway commercial district use regulations.
Buildings, structures or land may be used only for the following purposes in the “HC” highway commercial district:
(1) Permitted Principal Uses. The following principal uses are permitted in the highway commercial district, “HC”:
(a) Auditorium, exhibition hall, club.
(b) Automobile laundry.
(c) Automobile service station.
(d) Automobile sales and service.
(e) Bowling alley.
(f) Dry cleaning and laundry.
(g) Commercial recreation or amusements.
(h) Commercial nurseries and greenhouses.
(i) Commercial drive-in establishments.
(j) Drive-in theatre.
(k) Eating and drinking establishments.
(l) Furniture store.
(m) Garden and lawn supplies store.
(n) Lumber and building materials.
(o) Motels.
(p) Mobile home sales.
(q) Farm implement, and farm machinery fabrication, sales and service.
(r) Farm equipment and supplies, sales and service.
(s) Commercial storage and warehouses.
(2) Special Uses. The following special uses are permitted in the highway commercial district “HC,” only in accordance with provisions set forth hereinafter:
(a) Churches.
(b) Mortuary.
(c) Agricultural farming and the usual agricultural and farming buildings and structures, including the residence building of the owner or tenant. [Ord. 594, 2020; Code 1975 § 6-5.0206.]
