(1) The height of a fence or wall shall be determined by a measurement from the ground beneath the fence or wall to the top edge of fencing material. The fence or wall height above the finished grade shall be measured and determined on the side opposite of the property it encompasses.

(2) Manmade earth berms, terraces, and retaining walls that elevate the fence or wall shall be considered a part of the fence or wall. [Ord. 599, 2021.]
