(1) The fees for a commercial booth are as follows:

(a) Ida County resident nonprofit: $300.00;

(b) Ida County resident commercial: $400.00;

(c) Non-Ida County resident: $600.00.

In addition to the above fees, applications received after June 1, 2022, are surcharged:

(d) Ida County resident nonprofit and Ida County resident commercial: $100.00;

(e) Non-Ida County resident: $200.00.

As a subtraction to the above fees, applications received on or before May 20, 2022, are discounted $100.00.

(2) Vendors may be placed where electricity is available. Vendors requesting electricity will be required to pay an additional $150.00.

(3) “Ida County resident” is a person or entity with a bona fide Ida County, Iowa residence established prior to March 1, 2022.

(4) “Nonprofit” is an organization established under IRS 501(c)(3), a governmental entity, or a similar organization where the profit or proceeds benefit the public. Organizations are required to submit, upon request of an Ida Grove RAGBRAI vendor committee: (a) contracts with any vendor that operates or supplies their booth, to ensure that the public will benefit from the booth; (b) proof of their nonprofit status; and (c) a schedule of workers in the booth, showing their names, telephone numbers, addresses and dates of affiliation with the nonprofit group.

(5) A separate deposit of $50.00 is required for each permit. This money will be refunded if the vendor complies with this chapter and the site is completely cleaned by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022.

(6) Each site will be approximately 15 feet by 30 feet. A separate fee will be assessed for each site. The site must be completely cleaned by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022.

(7) All vendors both food and nonfood shall be shut down at 11:00 p.m. on July 24, 2022.
