The board of trustees of the library, hereinafter referred to as “the board,” consists of seven members. Six members shall be residents of the city and are to be appointed by the mayor with the approval of the council. The seventh member is to be a resident of the county and is to be appointed by the mayor with the approval of the county supervisors. [Ord. 382 § 1, 1983; Code 1975 § 4-1.02.]
