All yard waste shall be separated by the owner or occupant from all other solid waste and shall be composted on the premises or placed in degradable bags, containers or packages and set out for collection. Collection shall not occur in conjunction with the collection of municipal solid waste or recyclable materials, unless such materials shall be kept separate as required by the Iowa Code.
