(1) First Ward. The first ward shall include all that part of the city not included in ward three lying east of a line described as follows:

Commencing at the intersection of the centerlines of Main Street and Fifth Street; thence South along the centerline of Main Street to the intersection of South Main Street and the Southernmost portion of Valley View Drive; thence East along the centerline of Valley View Drive to the middle of the intersection of Valley View Drive and Park Lane; thence Southeasterly along the centerline of Park Lane to the corporate limits.

(2) Second Ward. The second ward shall include all the part of the city not included in ward three lying west of a line described as follows:

Commencing at the intersection of the centerlines of Main Street and Fifth Street; thence South along the centerline of Main Street to the intersection of South Main Street and the Southernmost portion of Valley View Drive; thence East along the centerline of Valley View Drive to the middle of the intersection of Valley View Drive and Park Lane; thence Southeasterly along the centerline of Park Lane to the corporate limits.

(3) Third Ward. The third ward shall include all that part of the city located north of a line described as follows:

Commencing at the intersection of the West corporate limits of the City of Ida Grove and the center of the Maple River; thence East along the centerline of the Maple River to the point where the centerline intersects the centerline of Badger Creek; thence East along the center line of Badger Creek to the intersection of Badger Creek and Fifth Street; thence East along the center line of Fifth Street to the middle of the intersection of Fifth Street and Moorehead Street; thence North along the centerline of Moorehead Street to the middle of the intersection of Moorehead Street and Third Street; thence East along the centerline of Third Street to the intersection where Third, Barnes and East Second Streets meet; thence Southeasterly along the center of East Second Street to the East corporate limits.
